Hana Daidaiyama is a female student currently attending Akademi High in Yandere Simulator.

Hana Daidaiyama suffers from a severe inferiority complex that stems from several incidents in her past. She is deeply insecure about herself - everything from her appearance to her intelligence - and she feels a powerful, irresistible urge to find reasons to look down on others, so that she can feel better about herself by comparison. For this reason, she is obsessed with finding skeletons in other peoples' closets, and dragging out those skeletons for the world to see. She doesn't care what consequences her actions have in the lives of others, as long as she can feel superior to them.

Appearance[]
Hana has messy, dark blonde hair with two long streaks of hot pink and yellow hair at the front. Her eyes are deep blue, which are unnatural, and she is heavily tanned. Pink and orange eyeshadow is powdered on her upper eyelids while white eyeshadow is dotted under her eyes. She wears the default female uniform unless customized by the player except with a shorter skirt along with loose white legwarmers and pink panties. She has a bust size of 1.3 and her eye type is smug.
To accessorize, Hana wears a light yellow hoodie around her waist, yellow and hot pink scrunchies on her wrists, a yellow bookbag, pink and yellow nail polish, and two matching flowers in her hair. As of April 15th, 2021, a long string of pink jewels rests on top of her head.
Personality[]
Hana is a Phone Addict. If a camera is pointed at her, she will strike a cute pose. If she discovers a corpse, she will take a picture of it and run out of school, while texting the police. If she sees the player commit murder, she will take a picture of them and proceed to run out of school while texting the police. If the player does not kill her before the timer is up, they will receive a game over. They also must crush her phone after they kill her to avoid being arrested. She is also a bully, who (along with the other bullies) will bully the student with the lowest reputation at school.
According to YandereDev's reddit post, Hana is deeply insecure, and has a strong urge to put others down in order to feel better about herself. Her favorite thing to do is looking for dirt in people's pasts so she can gossip about them.
Routine[]
Regular[]
As of March 22nd, 2021, Hana changes her shoes at her locker, go to classroom 2-1 and converse with her friend, Kashiko Murasaki.
At 8:00 AM, Hana goes to her classroom and sits at her desk, playing on her phone until morning classes start at 8:30.
She will no longer gossip in the girls' bathroom during cleaning time, nor sunbathe at the pool.
Previously, Hana would patrol the second floor every morning. At lunchtime, she would go to the girls' locker room and change into her swimsuit, then head over to the pool to sunbathe with the rest of the bullies. Instead of participating in cleaning time, she would go to the girls' bathroom on the third floor to gossip with her friends.
Bully[]
When Ayano lowers a student's reputation to -33 or lower (via gossip), the bullies show their true colors. In the morning, Hana and her group will go to that student's classroom to vandalize their desk with hurtful messages. Then, she will go about her regular routine.
During lunchtime, she, along with the other bullies, will go back to the bullied student's classroom and giggle until Musume shows up. Then, Hana's giggles will turn to full-blown laughter as Musume claps blackboard erasers on their victim's head.
Crushing[]
If Ayano completes Gema Taku's task, he will show up to school the next day with a new appearance. This will cause the bullies to find him attractive, thus they will spend lunchtime watching him from outside the Gaming Club instead of sunbathing at the pool.
Trivia[]
- Hana was implemented in the February 2nd, 2018 build.
- Her first name, Hana (花) translates to "flower." Daidai (橙) meaning "orange" and -Yama (山) being a common surname suffix meaning "mountain". Her last name could also mean "mountain 1" (daidaiyama 第第山).
- Hana's portrait was changed due to the gesture being considered offensive in some parts of the world.
- She wears contact lenses.
- On her phone, it says that she updated her profile picture. This is probably a reference to her having her portrait picture changed.
- As of April 15th, 2021, all of the bullies except Musume got new hair models.
- When her new hair model was first implemented, her earrings are buggy. YandereDev is yet to fix this bug.
