Ritsuko Chikanari was a female student who attended Akademi High in 1989. She is also the fifth rival of 1980s Mode in Yandere Simulator.
Appearance[]
Ritsuko has blue shoulder-length layered hair, most of it tucked behind her hears. She has curly sideburns and blunt bangs. Her eyes are red. On the top of her head, she wears a large white bow on a headband. She wears the original uniform unless customized by the player, along with brown pantyhose.
As of December 3rd, 2021, Ritsuko's hair has been adjusted to be slightly longer. The frills at the end of her bow are now red.
In her illustration, she has pale skin and black pantyhose, however in the game, Ritsuko has the default peach skin tone and brown tights.
Personality[]
Ritsuko has the Lovestruck persona. If she discovers a corpse on school grounds, she will run to Jokichi Yudasei and inform him that there has been a murder, then they will both flee the school. If she witnesses murder, she will tell him that Ryoba is a murderer, resulting in an instant Game Over.
Her personality is similar in personality to Kizana Sunobu; Ritsuko is selfish, arrogant, snobbish and conceited thanks to her privileged upbringing. She spends all of her time sunbathing at the pool, and doesn't care for studying. She seems to only be in Akademi for the prestige.
Routine[]
At 7:00 AM, Ritsuko and Jokichi have their morning events under a tree near the school. When they're done at 7:03 AM, Ritsuko will go to her locker, change her shoes and then head over to her classroom to hang her bag on her desk. Then, she will go to the pool and sunbathe with some other girls.
At 1:00 PM, Ritsuko will walk from class 2-2 to the Drama Club and sit to eat at 1:02 PM. At 1:22 PM Ritsuko walks back to class 2-2 for class.
At 3:30 PM the skips her cleaning duties and walks to the girls locker room to change into her swimsuit. She will then go to the pool and sunbathe with some other girls.

Jokichi Yudasei[]
Ritsuko is Jokichi's new friend. She has a crush on him, which makes her one of the rivals that Ryoba must eliminate in order to have Jokichi for herself.
Okimoto Furukawa[]
Okimoto is Ritsuko's suitor. He has a crush on her. It is possible to matchmake the two in order to keep Ritsuko away from Jokichi.
Trivia[]
- Ritsuko was implemented in the October 10th, 2021 build.
- Her canon elimination method is being drowned in the pool as she's sunbathing.
- She may be even more arrogant than Musume Ronshaku, as the former even dismisses the Pool's Closed sign, while Musume will eat lunch instead of sunbathe if she sees the sign.
