Hoshiko Mizudori is a female student currently attending Akademi High in Yandere Simulator.

Hoshiko Mizudori is different from the other members of the bullies. She has no excuse for her behavior, such as receiving a poor upraising, having an inferiority complex, or being a former victim. She is simply a cruel person. The one and only thing that she cares about is her own personal gratification. Nothing else matters to her, especially not the thoughts and feelings of other people. She doesn't use any form of rationalization to convince herself that she is justified in harming others; the pure enjoyment she gets from doing so is reason enough.
With that said, Hoshiko understands the importance of keeping her urges and actions secret from others, so she has mastered the art of being a social chameleon and pretending to be a normal, well-adjusted person. It is only when she is alone with a victim that her true, sadistic nature is revealed. The other bullies are the only people that she feels comfortable being "her true self" around.
When Hoshiko and the rest of the bullies are ganging up on a victim, Hoshiko often tries to convince the other bullies to do things like burn their victim with lit cigarettes. The other bullies always have to talk her out of it. If Hoshiko was the boss instead of Musume, each of their victims would have permanent scars.

Her hair was wavy, yet flat, thin at points. Her dark green hair is a cross between her mother's green hair and her father's black hair.
Out of all of the girls in Musume's crew, Hoshiko was the most plain before her transformation. She underwent the biggest change in the group, all for the sake of fitting in with the others. Half her hair is extensions, using a lot of curlers and styling products.
Changing her appearance to such a drastic degree was a calculated decision. In the event that her actions completely ruin her reputation, she wants to be able to "abandon" her current identity by reverting back into a plain girl. However, even though she might "shed her skin" to escape her past actions, it's very unlikely that she would ever change on the inside.
She gets her grey eyes from her father, and wears green contacts to look cuter.
Appearance[]
Hoshiko has blonde hair that is tied into a wavy ponytail that fades into turquoise at the end. She has a streak of lime green and turquoise in her parted fringe, as well as two star-shaped hairpins. Her eyes are green. She has a heavy tan and pink blush, lipstick and green eyeshadow. She wears the default uniform unless customized by the player, but with a shorter skirt, loose white legwarmers and pink panties.
To accessorize, Hoshiko wears a light green hoodie around her waist, green scrunchies on her wrists, star-shaped dangling earrings and a green bookbag on her left shoulder. She also wears long acrylic nails that are green with blue stripes.
Personality[]
Hoshiko is a Phone Addict. If a camera is pointed at her, she will strike a cute pose. If she discovers a corpse, she will take a picture, text the police, and run out of school. If she witnesses the player commit murder, she will take a picture of Ayano, along with the crime scene and proceeds to flee from the school, while texting the photo to the police. If Ayano does not kill her before the timer is up, she will receive a game over. The player must then crush her phone, or they will be caught. She is also a bully, who (along with the other bullies) will bully the student with the lowest reputation at school.
She is the meanest of the group, and lacks empathy for her victims. She is also fake, as she often preaches about the importance of positivity, but only says negative things about others in private.
Routine[]
At 7:15 AM, Hoshiko changes her shoes at her locker. At 7:20 AM, she will patrol the rooftop while playing on her phone, stopping briefly in front at every corner.
At 8:00 AM, Hoshiko goes to her classroom and sits at her desk, playing on her phone until morning classes start at 8:30.
She will no longer gossip in the girls' bathroom during cleaning time, nor sunbathe at the pool.
Previously, Hoshiko would patrol the first floor every morning. At lunchtime, she would go to the girls' locker room and change into her swimsuit, then head over to the pool to sunbathe with the rest of the bullies. Instead of participating in cleaning time, she would go to the girls' bathroom on the third floor to gossip with her friends.
Bully[]
When Ayano lowers a student's reputation to -33 or lower (via gossip), the bullies show their true colors. In the morning, Hoshiko and her group will go to that student's classroom to vandalize their desk with hurtful messages. Then, she will go about her regular routine.
During lunchtime, she, along with the other bullies, will go back to the bullied student's classroom and giggle until Musume shows up. Then, Hoshiko's giggles will turn to full-blown laughter as Musume claps blackboard erasers on their victim's head.
Crushing[]
If Ayano completes Gema Taku's task, he will show up to school the next day with a new appearance. This will cause the bullies to find him attractive, thus they will spend lunchtime watching him from outside the Gaming Club instead of sunbathing at the pool.
Trivia[]
- Hoshiko was implemented in the February 2nd, 2018 build.
- Her name means "aqua star" in Japanese, "Hoshi" meaning star, and -ko being a female name suffix meaning "child". "Mizu" means "water" referring to the color "mizuiro" which can mean "light blue", "aqua", or "color of water". "Dori" or "tori" means "bird". "Mizudori" on some media is somewhat confused with the term "mizuiro" when it comes to the translation of a light blue or bluish aqua color.
- She operates a hate blog on the internet.
- Her eyes are naturally gray. She and Hana Daidaiyama are the two bullies who wear contacts.
- Her father is a policeman.
- She is the newest member of the bullies.
- As of April 15th, 2021, all of the bullies except Musume got new hair models.
