Can I make a OC?
Are there rules?
Yes, you can, there's no need to ask! The only requirements are that your OCs aren't Mary Sues, Gary Stus, or a pre-existing character.
+
Yes, If you are creating an OC, be sure to name the page the name of your character. If you want to make your own fanon of an existing canon character, name the page as follows.

 +
[Name of Canon Character]/[Username]'s Fanon
You may base your OC on a pre-existing character, a person in real life, or any concept that sparks your interest. However, they must have some differences, or else your character isn't original at all!

If you want to update the information on the pages of canon characters, put canon/confirmed information only. If the page is messed up, you are also welcome to fix any issues, such as vandalism, messed up formatting, etc.
How can I make an OC?
All that's required is a concept. As your OC grows, they'll gain a backstory, appearance, personality, unique traits, etc. It is the creator's decision for how much character growth the OC has before they interact with the other characters.

Every Page should have proper headings, describing the subject of the character, item, place, etc. Info is typically the first heading, and Trivia is typically the last heading on a page.
To officially afflitiate your OC with this wiki, you must make a page for your OC, which will be titled with the character's name. There is an infobox template which you can fill out with your OC's information. For a profile picture, all mediums are accepted.

Bullying, harassment, vandalism, hacking, and trolling are against the rules and will have consequences. If you don't see your question on the page, contact an admin and address it properly and respectfully.
While this is not required, when an OC is made, it is polite to add them to the Students page, which documents all characters in YanSim's fanon universe. It is customary that pages that could list your OC should be updated with your OC's information. These include:

Note: In Japan, OCs cannot skip grades, which means that no matter how smart or talented a student is, they must stay in the grade for students their age. On the fanon wiki, we sort OCs into their classes based on their age. If your OC is below 14 years old, they must attend Akademi Middle School instead of Akademi High.

God modding is taking control of another player's character in a role-play. This is heavily frowned upon by most people, because it is unfair to the player who's character is being controlled by the god mod. It is against the rules, here on this wikia.
Godmodding is essentially giving a character Mary Sue/Gary Stu abilities, i.e. characteristics that can be considered "godlike." Often, these are abilities that are so powerful that they ruin the rp for others.

Forms of godmodding include:

*Giving a character too many abilities

*Breaking the fourth wall too often (Unless your OC is an oracle figure like Dev, and even then the OC can only warn others occasionally)

*Giving a character too few weaknesses

*Avoiding every attack, problem, or difficult situation

*Developing super powers without reason

*Having abilities that would negate the entire purpose of an rp

What are Mary Sues/Gary Stus?
A Mary Sue (for females) or Gary Stu (for males) is a character that can be considered perfect and flawless. They are one of the main causes of godmodding, which is why they are banned on this wiki.

If a character has one or two of these traits, it's not a problem; Everybody has their buffs and weak spots. However, if you find that the majority of your OC's traits involve the following, then you just might be harboring a Mary Sue/Gary Stu.

Mary Sue/Gary Stu traits include:

*Multicolored hair/skin/anything

*A very, very long and fancy name

*Many crushes/Many people that have crushes on them

*High reputation among others

*Rich

*Ideal family environment

*Many positive traits (kind, responsible, funny, attractive, fit, intelligent, etc.)

*Few negative traits (mean, lazy, rude, unattractive, weak body, dumb, etc.)

*Not (completely) human

*Many abilities

*Few flaws

*Does not come across many conflicts in their life

*Has an extended lifespan

Is Yandere-chan engaged with Senpai?
In The YanSim Fanon Story (the main and canonically fanon roleplay in this wiki's forums), Yandere-chan and Senpai are dating, before becomming engaged. Yandere-chan chose to eliminate her rivals through matchmaking, and Senpai was able to accept her love confession.

In canon, Yandere-chan won't confess to Senpai until all of her rivals have been eliminated. Her relationship with Senpai at the end of the game depends on the player's actions.

In fanonically fanon roleplays, alternate universes, and the couple's future, their relationship depends on the storytelling pathway our members choose.

Are there rules?
Of course yes. There are rules, click here to go to the Rules page.
